A Hermitage is for individuals who desire a secluded place; retreat; or a hideaway.

We are place of solitude. We provide a space for the quieting of the mind and the opening of the heart for spiritual wholeness. We want to provide growth and consciousness through hospitality, peacefulness, beauty, solitude, and prayer.

The Dwelling offers its guests the opportunity to be in a quiet, natural setting in the country in a hermitage made of pine and cedar with running water, electricity, and half and three quarter bathrooms. The hermitages are surrounded by meadows or woods. Walking and ski trails provide guests with the opportunity to be close to the quiet sounds of nature in all seasons. Guests benefit from the use of wood burning sauna, the Octagon which provides a communal space for small groups to gather, a small library for guests to use, and a labyrinth for quiet prayer or meditation, and a gazebo overlooking a small pond.

Delicious homemade meals are made fresh every day and guest can eat at their leisure in their hermitage.

We offer body massages by certified massage therapist. The services we provide our: ½ hour massage – $40.00, 1 hour massage – $70.00, 1.5 hour massage – $90.00, Hot Stone Massage – $90.00, Reki and or Jin Shin Jyustu – $60.00, Energy Massage – $80.00.

Each cottage has hot water, a half or three-quarter bath, a fully equipped kitchenette with a two burner stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven, refrigerator, place settings, utensils, towels, and linens, a screened porch, a wood-burning stove, and a tape/CD player.
